The Proms 2016 season has just been announced. The Hallé will be playing Berceuse for Dresden at Prom 41 on August 16th under Mark Elder, with Leonard Elschenbroich on the cello. Colin will be giving a pre-concert talk at 5.15pm, with live performance and discussion. And at Prom 29 on 6th August the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and Edward Gardner will perform Holst’s ‘The Planets’, including Pluto.
