Strugnell’s Haiku is a collection of three songs for voice and piano, set to haiku poems by Jason Strugnell, an alter ego of the poet Wendy Cope. It was first performed by Linda Hirst and John Lenehan at the BBC Maida Vale Studios in September 1989.
