Line up of LSO Panufnik composers, all seated

The new intake of Panufnik composers was welcomed to LSO St Luke’s this weekend, with an intensive couple of days of getting to know them. They’ll be working towards a performance of a new piece in March 2019; the current group of composers have their workshop at St Luke’s on March 18th with, as ever, the incomparable François-Xavier Roth in charge.

Pictured from left to right : George Stevenson, Lady Camilla Panufnik, Ido Romano, Alex Tay, Cassie Kinoshi, Lara Poe, Joel Järventausta, CM, Christian Mason, Lucy O’Rorke (Helen Hamlyn Trust), Natalia Franklin Pierce (LSO Artist Development) and Dudley Bright (LSO Principal Trombone). This year’s group brings the total number of Panufnik Composers to have worked with the LSO since 2005 to no less than 81.
